Meigs man arrested on theft, burglary charges

RUTLAND — The Meigs County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday arrested Adam Ray Lambert, 26, of 34018 New Lima Road, Rutland, on multiple counts of theft, breaking and entering, and burglary in Meigs County.

The arrest came after an investigation by the Meigs County Sheriff’s Office.

At 12:35 p.m., officers took Lambert in for questioning, and after interviewing him officers charged him with the aforementioned offenes.

According to Sheriff Keith Wood, Lambert will appear before Judge Steven Story later in the week, where he will be arraigned. He is currently being housed in the Middleport Jail.
