POMEROY — A National Diabetes Month community symposium will be held on Saturday, Nov. 3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Farmers Bank Community Room.
Registrations begins at 9:30 a.m. Lunch will be provided and there will be door prizes. Attendees can stop in at any time or stay all day.
Educational information will be provided for both Type I and Type II diabetes.
Other presentations include, community members sharing their stories, information about insulin therapies, nutrition and label education and an OSU Extension cooking demonstration.
The event is hosted by the Meigs County Health Department.
