POMEROY — Pomeroy police and the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation are on the scene of the Pomeroy Rite Aid located at 306 E. Main St. The front left door appears to have glass shattered in both panels and the investigation is ongoing.
According to Pomeroy Police Chief Mark Proffitt, at an unknown time in the early morning hours of Oct. 28, the Rite Aid was burglarized, although a list of items that was taken has not been released. Proffitt said two arrests have been made in connection with the case, with more arrests possibly forthcoming.
