Bingo fundraiser set for Spay Neuter Assistance Program

GALLIPOLIS – The Spay Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP) of Gallia County is hosting its second annual Bingo games fundraiser Thursday, Oct. 5 at the fellowship hall of New Life Lutheran Church, 900 Jackson Pike, Gallipolis. Doors will open at 5 p.m. and the games will begin at 6 p.m.

Prizes include new and retired Longaberger baskets and pottery, specialty items and gift certificates from local businesses. In addition, there will be door prizes, concessions, and items will be auctioned.

All proceeds support the efforts of SNAP, a non-profit 501c3 all volunteer organization. SNAP’s mission is prevention. In cooperation with Riverbend Animal Clinic and French Town Veterinary Clinic, SNAP has made it possible for 2,157 cats and 343 dogs to be spayed or neutered, thereby preventing litters of unwanted puppies and kittens.
