POMEROY — The injunction hearing scheduled for this morning in the case involving the Village of Rutland and the Meigs County Commissioners has been continued.
The case was scheduled for an injunction hearing at 9:30 a.m. in Meigs County Common Pleas Court with visiting Judge Dean Evans presiding.
At approximately 10:30 a.m. the more than a dozen people waiting in the courtroom for the hearing were informed that the hearing had been continued until Feb. 10 at 9 a.m.
Meigs County Prosecutor James K. Stanley told the Sentinel that the temporary restraining order issued in the case last week remains in place through the hearing on the 10th.
