Scott attended White’s Chapel Church and was an avid Ford man who loved building engines and racing.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clayton Kimes of Reedsville; his paternal grandparents, Harry and Retha Kimes; his maternal grandparents, Bill and Virginia Hoselton; three aunts, Wanda Kimes, Milford Reynolds and Mildred Baker; and an uncle, Clifford Kimes.
He is survived by his mother, Maralene Kimes of Reedsville; his wife, Rae Lynn Dailey Kimes and a nine-year-old son, Bradley Scott Kimes of Reedsville; a brother, Jeff (Dee) Kimes of Reedsville; two sisters, Marsha (Kevin) Cowdery of Reedsville, and Chryll (Jim) Koster of Springfield, Ohio; two uncles, Carrol (Lucille) Kimes of Long Bottom, and Bill Hoselton of Cleveland, and many nieces, nephews and some very special friends.
The family would like to thank all the wonderful people who helped out with prayers, time, money and encouragement. You are deeply appreciated. May God richly bless you all.
Services will be held 11 a.m.., Friday, Oct. 1, 2010 at Eden United Brethren Church, Reedsville with Rev. Charles Martindale officiating. Burial will be in the Randolph Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church one hour prior to service.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to White-Schwarzel Funeral Home to cover funeral expenses.
