The annual autumn art show was held at Dave Diles Park, and is sponsored by the Riverbend Arts Council. Elizabeth Hamilton was named reserve best of show, for a pastel work, “Baby Boy.” Shultz received a $25 cash prize and Hamilton a $20 prize.
In addition to the exhibition and display of paintings in a number of media, craftsmen demonstrated their skills at a number of displays, and a special children’s program was offered. That, according to one of the organizers, was a considerably bigger part of the show this year.
Gary Enrico, a painter at Gallery at 409 in Point Pleasant, W.Va., was the featured artist during the show.
