Extension holiday program set for Nov. 27

POMEROY — “Welcome to Our House” where reuse, re-purpose, and recycle through the holidays is the theme of the annual Christmas program of the Meigs County Extension Service to be staged on Nov. 27.

There will be two sessions, one from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the second from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., both held in the conference room of the agency located on Mulberry Drive.

The emphasis will be on making your holidays “green” with money saving tips to include emphasis on recycling, reusing and re-purposing. Each session will include a make and take craft, a session on making beautiful bows, also a make and take project, the sharing of recipes, food sampling, and a book of ideas for doing more with less and other things.
