RIO GRANDE, Ohio — The University of Rio Grande athletic department will host an Athletic Recruiting Day on Sunday, October 28 on the URG campus.

Registration begins at 1:30 p.m. at the Lyne Center. Information on admissions, financial aid, housing and eligibility will be available to prospective student-athletes. A campus tour is also included.

Rio Grande, which is a member of the NAIA Division I Mid-South Conference, fields teams in women’s volleyball, men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s indoor and outdoor track and field, baseball, softball and cheerleading.

The school also offers opportunities for individuals wishing to be a part of the cheerleading and dance teams as well. Come programs may also offer tryout sessions.
