According to Meigs County Sheriff Robert Beegle, the man fell from the jet ski he was operating and was struck by a passing boat. Emergency personnel were called to the scene, but the man reportedly died on the way to Holzer Medical Center. The name and age of the man killed have not yet been released.
The case will be handled by the West Virginia Department of Natural Resources Law Enforcement Division.
