MIDDLEPORT — The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation is assisting the Middleport Police Department in the investigation of a burglary at Beth’s Place early Tuesday.
Authorities planned to interview possible suspects and witnesses late Wednesday, a department spokesman said.
A bar employee reported to work Tuesday morning and found an interior entrance to the first floor of the building on North Second Avenue had been forced open. Only cash was reported stolen.
The department expects arrests to be made in the case following the interviews, according to Mony Wood.
