Hat Drive raises over $3,800
Dear Editor:
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the people who participated by donating money to the Gallipolis Police Department’s Hat Drive on Saturday, Dec. 6 in front of Wal-Mart on Eastern Avenue.
Our efforts to raise money were a success and to this point, we have raised over $3,800, which has been turned over to Gallia County Children Services to buy gifts for children here in Gallia County this holiday season.
I would also like to thank the officers and Explorers of the Gallipolis Police Department who endured Saturday’s weather conditions and were dedicated to making a difference for the children of Gallia County.
