Nora I. Coon Franklin Anderson, of New Brockton, AL, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2011, at her home. She was 82.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, September 7, 2011, at Searcy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Huey Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery with Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her husbands, James Franklin and Roy Anderson; her parents, Caleb and Edna Victoria Coon; brothers, Clayton, Denver, Edward, George, Curtis, Cale and Jacob; sisters, Grace, Helen and Mary; three grandchildren; her father and mother-in-law, Mose and Callie Anderson; and brothers-in-law, William and Looney.

Survivors include eight children, Sharon Kelley, New Brockton, AL, Peggy Roberts (Rodney), Vickie Brumfield (Terry), Bobby Franklin (Pam), all of Gallipolis, Ohio, Terri Franklin (John Coats), Iron City, GA, James Franklin (Trish), Powell, TN, John Franklin (Evelyn), Climax, GA, and Joe Franklin (Frances), Colquitt, GA; 32 grandchildren; 66 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; in-laws, Huey and Elaine Anderson, Charles and Nell Anderson, Marion and Veeta Anderson, Linda Baxley, David Anderson, Jesse and Betty Anderson, and Clara Anderson.
