Cold temperatures and snow greeted many in Meigs County on Tuesday morning. A layer of snow coated the wall along the Pomeroy Parking Lot and the grass in the mini-park located on Court Street, and added a wintry touch to Halloween decorations displayed throughout the area. The conditions made for some wet, sloppy roads throughout the area and limited visibility at times on the roadways and the river. Wind, rain and a few snow showers are expected to continue throughout today.
