POINT PLEASANT — An accident involving a vehicle and two tractor trailers on the Silver Memorial Bridge has resulted in a fatality Wednesday afternoon.
The fatality is reported to be an adult. The accident appears to have occurred near the center of the bridge in the lanes going from West Virginia to Ohio.
Traffic was considerably backed up and slow moving in the area, including on the Bartow Jones Bridge for nearly two hours after the accident occurred.
