POMEROY — It was Christmas, Christmas everywhere in downtown Pomeroy Monday night when merchants hosted their traditional holiday open house.
The event is held every year as a way of inviting people into the store to see the variety of merchandise available and encourage local shopping for the holiday season.
Many of the merchants awarded door prizes and most served refreshments to those who stopped by.
