GALLIPOLIS — The Riverby Mini-Crafters, a dollhouse and miniatures group, will share their tiny treasures in the French Art Colony galleries now through Nov. 28.

The Riverby Mini-Crafters were organized as a result of a workshop held at the French Art Colony in 1990. The group now numbers approximately one dozen who meet at the FAC on the third Sunday of every month.

The 16th showing of the mini-crafters’ work features 25 to 30 pieces, including complete dollhouses, numerous room boxes, scenes in suitcases, individual miniature pieces and club projects they created together, such as “A Little Something from Europe.”

A small crafts and miniatures “Yard Sale” and “Make & Take” demonstration will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, giving the public an opportunity to watch hand-made creations being constructed and offering people a chance to purchase unique items to add to a collection of their own.

The Riverby Mini-Crafters have been involved in many charitable events throughout the years, including a dollhouse or miniature scene, traditionally raffled off during the mini-crafter exhibit at the French Art Colony, and a dollhouse for the Ronald McDonald House in Huntington, W.Va.

Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, and 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday.

The Ohio Arts Council helped fund this program with State tax dollars to encourage economic growth, educational excellence and cultural enrichment for all Ohioans.
