Dear Editor,
I have just finished reading online the story of Pt. Pleasant, WV and Pt. Pleasant, NJ, and the help from WV after Super Storm Sandy. Was I surprised, indeed not!! With my husband having served Bellemead UM Church and myself helping in things like this, and knowing what the area does for others, my heart was warmed tremendously to see members of the church still at it and those around them doing the Lord’s work for somewhere else that needed it. It makes me very glad to have been a part of these things while living there from 1992-2000. We know Mason County will continue the good work for the needs of others. Thank you!
