The Civil War Ball is a sesquicentennial remembrance and fundraiser for the Athens County Historical Society and Museum. Both Confederate and Yankee sympathizers are welcome! Period dress is encouraged but not required. The night will feature dancing and authentic music, a costume contest, raffles, hors d'oeuvres and wine, and a cash bar. Tickers are $20 for members and students and $25 for non-members. They can be purchased at 65 North Court Street or by calling 740-592-2280.
