Located in the beautiful Ohio Valley, The Daily Sentinel is published every weekday afternoon. On Sundays, the Sentinel joins with its sister newspaper, the Gallipolis (Ohio) Daily Tribune to produce the Sunday Times-Sentinel.
The Sentinel's offices are located in the twin cities of Pomeroy and Middleport, Ohio, the latter getting its name for being the middle port along the majestic Ohio River between Pittsburgh, Pa., and Cincinnati, Ohio.
Meigs County is part of the tri-county region with Mason County, W.Va., and Gallia County, Ohio. All three counties border the historic and beautiful Ohio River.
