POMEROY — Hundreds of blues and jazz fans turned out for Saturday’s finale of the 2014 Big Bend Blues Bash, which featured bands from across the land.

Not only was the lower parking lot, for a second day, filled with fans, but many boats lined the riverside where they could listen to the music as they relaxed on board.

Concessionaires seemed to be busy from the time Ben Davis Jr. & the Dirt Poor Troubadours, a local band, took the stage at noon until the performance of the festival headliner Devon Allman, who took spectators to the Bash finale.

The day’s lineup included performances by the 32-20 Band from Charleston, W.Va.; Echo Mecca of Meigs County, Magic Mamma Band from Rio Grande; the Blues Z Band from Oak Hill, the Sasha Coletter of Olive Hill, Ky., Chaz Hemsly & the Effects of South Charleston, W.Va.; Howard Glazer of Detroit, SIMO of Nashville, and Allman, of St Louis.
