Pomeroy businesses damaged

Two suspects are seen in surveillance footage. The two are alleged to have been involved in the damaging of businesses in Pomeroy over the weekend.


A block was reportedly thrown through the glass at Jack’s Auto Upholstery on West Main Street.


The Chamber of Commerce office also received damage.


POMEROY — The Pomeroy Police Department is investigating reports of criminal damaging which occurred in the village over the weekend.

According to a post on the department’s Facebook page, they are seeking assistance with identifying two individuals who are alleged to have been involved in the incidents.

The incidents reportedly occurred between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m. on Sunday, July 2.

Damage reportedly occurred at the Meigs County Chamber of Commerce Office, Jack’s Auto Upholstery and Wild Horse Cafe.
