County fair in full swing

GALLIPOLIS —The Gallia County Junior Fair officially opened yesterday and continues throughout the week with a schedule packed full of events.Daily admission to the fair is $8 per person and includes entertainment, shows and amusement rides. Tickets are available at entrance gates to the fairgrounds, and children under 2 years of age are admitted free but must purchase a ride pass to be admitted on amusement rides.Season passes are also available for purchase. They are $24 and will admit one person to the fairgrounds and shows for each day of the fair, but they do not include admission to amusement rides.
